The entire internet seems to be hell-bent on giving me FOMO on NFTs. But I don't care - my life is not any worse off for not owning things like rare collectible cards, and it will certainly not be worse off without these.
I consider that it's probably better to own physical items like raw metal than electronic items if the world goes sour. You can almost always trade a piece of copper or iron for some food.

Do you know in reality what keeps you safe in world gone to chaos, exactly the same thing that keeps you safe now, Community. Nothing else but community, how people working together can achieve much more than people working alone.
Got a gun in your survival kit, get bitten by a venomous spider, shit happens you know and you die. Got a crossbow with exploding darts, trip and break you leg and you die. Slip and take a really nasty whack on the noggin, not matter what you have, unless you have people around you, you die.
Those communities that come together the fastest will rebuild and survive and thrive. Those that do not, that devolve to rabid dog eat rabid dog will die fighting amongst themselves like the rabid dogs they are. That is the reality.
What is a piece of paper that represents unbacked crypto, rubbish, unless it is of the right consistency to be used as toilet paper. What currency will have value, what ever that community decides and bits of metal work, copper is good has many uses, easily worked, pots and pans et al.
